Senior Manager- Field Credit

Develop, update and implement policies for field underwriting to facilitate business growth while maintaining expected quality of loans portfolio.
Manage Field Credit - train the team and monitor loan origination malpractices and frauds
Generate market intelligence on emerging risks including competition in our markets.
Drive simplification of the underwriting process to optimize productivity and improve service delivery levels
Recruit, train & build a high-performing field underwriting team for ensuring the adherence of credit policies and processes
Mentor team for managing pre-sanction diligence and post sanction monitoring of accounts
Undertake regular review of portfolio vis--vis Internal and Industry benchmarks as well as identify early warning signals in stressful business segments/ regions.
Experience & Skills: (as demonstrated in the past track record)
Experience in quality organizations (Banks or NBFC) with managerial role in Credit function in retail lending (preferably Microenterprise lending or MFI background).
Strong understanding of credit processes used in the industry to manage a credit portfolio
A strong team player willing to give to the team for delivering top performance through the team. Willing to invest in the people in the team as well as in peers.
Ability to effectively communicate with the branch credit teams.
Strong ability to convince/influence the peers in driving quality outcomes for the Company
Good knowledge of excel
Person should be open for travelling (at least 10 days a month)
